Oasis Heat Pumps
The Oasis Hot Water Heat Pump is state of the art technology. It has reverse cycle defrost for low ambient conditions which is critical in New Zealand. It has a microprocessor control which has its own self-diagnostic within it and its own internal safety's to stop the machine if a malfunction occurs.
The heat pump also comes fitted with a water flow switch which prevents the heat pump working should it not have any water flow. The controller is so intelligent it can operate the water pump to start and stop. The Oasis heat pump is simply the best Hot Water Heat Pump available in New Zealand.
How does it work?
A heat pump is like a reverse fridge and uses electricity to operate. 'Free' heat is extracted from the ambient air, boosted with a compressor through a refrigeration process and then transferred into the water. It is very cost effective to heat swimming pool water as the electrical input is not to generate heat but to move the 'free' heat to the water regardless of the weather conditions. Due to their high efficiency, Oasis Heat Pumps have a lower running cost compared with diesel, gas and electric elements.
